In short: PaceMark does not collect any personal data. All your data stays on your device.

Our commitment

PaceMark is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your running data belongs to you and should never leave your device without your explicit consent.

Data collected

None. PaceMark does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

Data stored locally

The following data is stored only on your device:

GPX routes: The files you import are saved in the app's local database.
Milestones: The points of interest you create on your routes.
Preferences: Your app usage settings.

This data never leaves your iPhone. It is not synced with iCloud or sent to any server.

GPS location

PaceMark uses your device's GPS to guide you during your runs. This location data:

Is processed in real time on your device
Is not recorded
Is never transmitted externally

Location access is required for voice guidance to work. You can revoke this permission at any time in your iPhone settings.

Third-party services

PaceMark does not integrate any third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising services. The app does not contain:

Google Analytics or equivalent
Facebook SDK or equivalent
Advertising networks
Crash reporting tools that send data

User account

PaceMark does not require any account. No sign-up, no email, no password. You install the app and use it.

Data sharing

Since we do not collect any data, we have nothing to share with third parties. Your routes and runs remain strictly private.

Data deletion

To delete all your data:

Delete your routes from the app
Or simply uninstall PaceMark

Uninstalling permanently deletes all local app data.

Security

Your data is protected by the security mechanisms built into iOS. Each app is isolated in its own environment (sandbox) and cannot access other apps' data.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy is modified, we will update this page with the new revision date. Significant changes will be communicated through an app update.
